A big red to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the estate. This Bordeaux-style blend offers notes of ripe cherries with a very beautiful purple color in the glass. On the palate, you will notice a distinct earthiness finished off with tannins and black pepper. This round and complex wine will go great with dinner tonight or cellar it for a later date.
If you’re looking for something before a meal, matured hard cheeses and other charcuterie is perfect. A nice Italian beef carpaccio would go wonderfully with this wine as well. Some great ideas for pairing would be grilled meats, lightly spiced or with mixed herbs, like a nice NY Strip or a well seasoned duck breast.
