This is a dry white wine made from one of the most planted grape varieties in the world. What it make it special is the site, high altitude helps to keep the natural freshness of the wine. The wine has pristine fruit untouched by oak, green apple, underripe pear and melon with a touch of camomile flowers. On the palate is dry, with a electric acidity, medium light body, direct fruit, fresh character and a lingering wet stones minerality.
Try this lighter Chardonnay with some delicious crab cakes that are slightly breaded and fried to bring out the brightness in this wine. Since this Chardonnay is an unoaked lighter style wine it is best t pair with lighter foods such as raw or slightly cooked seafoods; it would also be great to pair it with a creamy soup to provide a nice balance to your meal.
