- Appellation:Mendoza, Italy
- Color:Straw yellow
- Blend:50% Viognier, 20% Chardonnay, 20% Vermentino, 10% Pecorino
An invitation to experience four different grape varietals in one bottle. A blend of Viognier from Sicily in the south, Chardonnay from cool climate Trentino in the north, Vermentino from coastal Maremma in the west and a small amount of Pecorino, an ancient Italian grape variety, in the east.
This is probably more a food wine than one that you would drink all by itself but it presents a bit more intriguing option than Chardonnay and should allow for some tasty food pairings. Marcona almonds, chicken with lemon cream sauce, or linguini with garlic and shrimp. Pasta poultry, and seafood are all good pairings.
